Le Saint Tropez: Truly authentic French cuisine

French food is as decadent as it sounds and there is no greater place to enjoy authentic French cuisine in Toronto than at Le Saint Tropez.  Using the simplicity and freshness that goes into Southern French cuisine, this is the one place to truly indulge.  The two-story restaurant is located in the heart of Toronto’s theatre district and is also nearby several of the city’s popular landmarks, favorite hotspots, and tourist attractions.  Live band performances and a beautiful ambiance are also part of Le Saint Tropez’s charm.

Lunch options include entrees such as, Classic French Onion Soup, Steamed Mussels with white wine garlic cream sauce and spinach-to name a few.  Tasty sandwiches include the Grilled sautéed chicken, ham and mushrooms, tomato sauce and Swiss cheese.  Some Lunch Pastas include Linguine with shrimps, diced tomato and spinach in a rose sauce and Penne with chicken, mushrooms, roasted garlic and cream sauce.  There’s also a long list of Specialties, some of which include, Quiche Lorraine- a classic quiche with bacon, onion and Swiss cheese and Steak Frites-Angus beef with frites and red wine glaze.

Le Saint Tropez’s Dinner Menu also includes a range of authentic French plates.  Entrees include a selection of fresh soups and salads, Escargots, and Pate with crostini.  Pasta’s include, Linguine with steamed mussels, scallops, calamari and shrimp in vodka rose sauce and a delicious seafood risotto.  The long list of dinner specialities include, Oven roasted chicken filled with goat cheese and spinach in sun dried tomato reduction, Filet of Sole filled with shrimp mousse in a champagne and spinach sauce, and Grilled lamb chops with roasted garlic, rosemary jus and seasonal vegetables and several other options.  An extensive wine menu is also available to pair perfectly with dinner.

Of course a French meal wouldn’t be complete without French dessert.  Some of Le Saint Tropez’s dessert delights include Crème Brulee, chocolate mousse, and fresh sherbets.  Dessert wines and specialty coffees are also on the menu.

Enjoy a slice of France in the city of Toronto at Le Saint Tropez!
