Volume
View Full Profile
Formed in
Oakville towards the end of 2004, Volume quickly progressed into a serious project which has grown s into a group with what Brett Zilahi, senior mastering engineer at João Carvalho Mastering Studio in
Toronto calls “a real bright future” ahead of them.
A musical engine in and around Toronto, Canada, that’s been running for over four years, Volume’s music can be described as having a classic rock base, occasional hints of hard rock, soul and funk inspired ingredients, an aftertaste of jazz, and a natural presence of the blues. The songs are created out of a need to make music, an unbreakable habit that’s shared within the band.
With the completion of the bands third set of original demo material recorded in their home studio, they are already seeing positive feedback. Their two part rock piece “The Only One” has been featured on the “Best of Indies” compilation put out by Moozikoo.com, as well as on X-it rite records’ “Java with Javelyn Indie Music Volume 3” compilation. The future is promising as Volume continues to explore their music and expand their musical horizons.
