TA Day is an annual one-day professional development conference for new teaching assistants at York University. The goal of the day is to help new TAs to prepare for their new role with students. The focus is on the immediate needs of a new TA, and links sessions on central principles with sessions to contextualize these principles within the disciplinary settings the TAs will work in.
