Queer West Arts and Culture Festival celebrates all forms of queer artistic expression in various venues throughout the city's west end. With a decidedly anti-commercial approach, the week-long event features visual art displays, theatre, film, music and spoken word that explores the LGBT community's culture and creativity.

August 7:
Launch Party and Juried Queer Youth Art Show at Abode Bar.

August 8:
Sexy Words, a spoken word/poetry show at Lula Lounge.

August 10:
Harriet's House, a play about adoption in a same-sex family, location TBA.

August 13:
Womyn's Music Night at Mitzi's Sister.

August 14:
3rd Annual Queer West Film Festival at Revue Cinema.

August 15:
Parkdale Queer Outdoor Street Craft Fair at Masaryk-Cowan Community Centre.
