The True Colours Tour is back, going to 24 cities and it makes a Toronto stop at the Molson Amphitheatre. The tour's headliner's include 80's pop star Cyndi Lauper, The B-52s, the Indigo Girls and Rosie O'Donnell. The tour will feature performances from Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Joan Armatrading, Deborah Cox, Regina Spektor, The Cliks, Nona Hendryx, Tegan and Sara and comedian Wanda Sykes. Carson Kressley will host the show.
The Toronto show will be in support of Egale Canada and its safe schools campaign, ensuring that all students can learn in a safe and inclusive environment. A portion of the proceeds from every ticket purchased will go towards supporting this Egale Canada initiative. The True Colours Tour was launched by Cyndi Lauper in 2007, in support of equality for members of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community.
