
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is an annual event during the month of November that takes place at Toronto’s Exhibition Place. Now in its 88th year, the fair is the largest combined indoor agricultural fair and international equestrian competition in the world.
More than 340,000 people visit the fair annually for a day of fun and learning. Thousands of Canadian and International breeders, growers and exhibitors, both large and small animals, show, interactional activities, shopping, dining and the famous Royal Horse Show are all on hand to see and enjoy.
There is plenty to see and do at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Fair must-sees include animals big and small, horses to llamas and everything in between, visitors have a chance to see, pet and learn about different animals up close. It’s a favorite for kids! Also at the fair are Informational shows like the Journey to Your Good Health will provide visitors with tips on how to healthy choices when it comes to food, both locally and current food trends.
The fair also includes the always impressive Giant Vegetable Challenge where the extreme sizes of vegetables including ones over 1000 pounds will be on display. Of course the fair wouldn’t be complete without what its best known for, The Royal Horse Show. This internationally renowned show features some of the best horses and equestrians from both Canada and around the world. The horse show includes show jumping, dressage, and carriage racing, and these are just some of its highlights.
It doesn’t stop there! The fair has much more to see and do including a petting farm for kids, a rodeo, a dog show, boutique and vendor style shopping, a horse educational exhibit, a family fun stage featuring performances by children entertainers and much more!
