The New York award-winning show, Love, Loss, and What I Wore is marking its Canadian premiere and now playing at Toronto’s Panasonic Theatre.
A telling collection of stories presented in vignettes and monologues, Love, Loss, and What I Wore is based on the tales of sisters Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron and the best-selling book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman and personal recollections of Ephrons’ friends. The Ephron sisters are the same duo behind the hit romantic comedies and screenplay You’ve Got Mail, Julie & Julia (Nora Ephron) and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Delia Ephron).
Hilarious, witty, and poignant, this show is a must see. The all-star cast of five women use clothes and accessories to tell stories that reflect the cycle of life in a way that only women can relate to and truly understand. From the first bra, to the prom dress, to the huge purses all women carry around, Love, Loss, and What I Wore touches upon many issues in a light-hearted way, guaranteed to make you laugh throughout the entire performance and thereafter.
Take your sister, mom, grandma, and friends. Young and old, this show is great for all and the perfect girls' night out. The Toronto production takes place at the Panasonic Theatre in the heart of downtown Toronto. Although a smaller venue, all seats at this state of the art theatre are great.
