Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam 2011 Crashes into Toronto's Rogers Centre

The world’s premier monster truck series, the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam 2011, is turning its wheels toward Toronto. The two-day, car-crushing, free-wheeling, energy-packed Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam will be January 22-23, 2011, at the Rogers Centre.

An event that attracts more than 4 million spectators at stadiums around the world each year, Monster Jams showcase custom-designed machines that stand an average of 12 feet tall by 12 feet wide sitting atop 66-inch tall tires and weighing in at a minimum of 10,000 pounds. These impressive machines go head-to-head in freestyle and racing competitions.

Where else can you see trucks flying 35 feet high and distances of between 125 to 130 feet? Only at another Monster Truck rally, that's where. These pickup trucks on steroids generate between 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

Several fan-favorite trucks schedule for this year’s event include Grave Digger, Dragon’s Breath, Maximum Destruction, Grave Digger Legend, Ironman, El Toro Loco and Monster Mutt.

Join fans in this annual pilgrimage and experience the sights and sounds of these massive machines of mayhem only at Monster Jam!

HelloToronto Tip:  Get an up-close experience with the monster trucks at the pre-show party pits where fans will get the chance to see the monster trucks, meet the drivers, get autographs and take pictures. The Party in the Pits will be from 3-5 p.m. January 22, 2011, and from 11 a.m.-noon January 23, 2011.
