Harbourfront Centre

Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre has been the hub of Canadian and International culture, entertainment, art, education and recreation for over 30 years.  Located in a collection of venues along downtown Toronto’s waterfront, it’s a favorite place to visit among many and a great way for tourists to see what the city has to offer, attracting over 12 million visitors each year.

With over 4,000 events happening at Harbourfront Centre every year, there is something to see and do for everyone.  From show and events featuring international theatre, music and performances, to exhibitions featuring visual art, to cultural festivals celebrating International food and music every season, to Canadian and International theatre and dance, to HarbourKids-free programming designed for kids between 5-12 years of age.  The centre also offers a variety of public programs year-round.

Located on a 10-acre site along the shore of Lake Ontario, Harbourfront Centre is a beautiful place to take in and enjoy the city’s views.  Whether taking a walk along the boardwalk, enjoying a meal by the water, shopping or taking in the endless activities and events, it’s the one place that has it all.  Restaurants, cafes, and shops are all within walking distance.  The beautifully landscaped Music Garden offers live music and concerts in the summer months.  The marinas at Harbourfront also offer many activities including tour and charter boats offering various types of cruises.

Harbourfront Centre is also a rewarding place to learn.  It’s year-round cultural, recreational and educational programs make it a place that welcomes people from all cultures and ages.  Offering educational workshops, courses, lectures, camps and unique discoveries, it’s a place where everyone can explore the best of art and culture from an array of perspectives.

Whether enjoying the sights and waterfront during the hot summer months, or skating and sipping on hot chocolate by the frozen waters in the winter months, the activities offered are endless.  Be sure to check out Harbourfront’s website for a month-to-month calendar of events.
